WHAT IS CLENPIQ?
Clenpiq solution (Sodium Picosulfate/Magnesium Oxide/Citric Acid) is a ready-to-drink prescription drug that helps clean your colon as a colonoscopy prep. The bowel prep helps the medical practitioner to see or detect the abnormalities more clearer.
It is an oral solution that is a combination of a stimulant laxative and osmotic laxative to cause diarrhea. Stimulant laxative works by making the intestines contract to help stimulate bowel movement. Osmotic laxative works by inducing osmosis to pull water from surrounding tissues and improve moisture in the intestine. These two laxatives in this solution combined will result in an easier and more convenient bowel movement.
