Description

Procytox is a prescription medication that is used in the treatment of different cancers. Procytox fights cancer by preventing the growth of cancer cells so that they are unable to replicate.

This medication should be stored as directed in your prescription. Make sure Procytox is in a safe place, out of the reach of both children and pets.

Before taking Procytox, tell your doctor if you are currently taking any medications (prescription or nonprescription), as some medications can interfere with the effectiveness of this medication.

Patient Family Information  : Procytox is a prescription medication that should be taken in the exact fashion that is outlined in your prescription. If your prescription is unclear or confusing, contact your healthcare provider for further clarification. Procytox is prescribed in the forms of tablets and injections. If you have been prescribed tablets, your doctor will outline when to take them in your prescription. This medication is often recommended to be taken in small doses daily but may also be administered in larger doses every two weeks. When Procytox is prescribed as an injection, most doctors recommend it to be taken twice a week. If you are to take these injections at home, your doctor will show you how to safely administer your medication. Make sure you understand how to administer Procytox in injection form before you administer Procytox to yourself.

Do not take Procytox if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medication. Procytox should additionally not be taken if you: have a kidney or liver dysfunction; have low platelet count; have severely low white blood cell counts; or if you are breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, you should not use this medication.

Sever Side Effects : Severe Side Effects: cough or hoarseness; fever or chills; lower back or side pain; missed menstrual periods; painful or difficult urination; black, tarry stools; blood in stools; pinpoint red spots on skin; unusual bleeding or bruising

Common Side Effects: darkening of skin and fingernails; loss of appetite; nausea and vomiting; temporary loss of hair; stomach pain; increased sweating; headache; flushing or facial redness; or diarrhea.
