Potassium Chloride Micronized
Klor-Con is used in the prevention or the treatment of low blood levels of potassium, also known as hypokalemia.
Klor-Con should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
In order to make sure the medication is helping your condition your blood will need to be tested fairly regularly. Also, your heart rate may also need to be checked often using an electrocardiograph. These tests will let your doctor know how well the treatment is working and how long your treatment will need to continue for. Do not miss any appointments as they are extremely important. Follow the special diet your doctor has given you. This diet is equally important to treating your condition. Do not stop taking your medication without talking to your doctor as your condition could become worse.
