Foltx is a multivitamin. It is used to treat patients who are pregnant or have digestive disorder, illness, and poor nutrition. Foltx is also prescribed to vitamin deficient patients who are not taking enough vitamins through their diets.
Store at room temperature in a cool dry place. Keep away from moisture and heat. Also keep away from children and pets. It is important to tightly seal the bottle after use.
Before taking Foltx, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are taking prescription or over the counter medication, herbal preparation, or dietary supplements; if you have allergies to foods, medicines, or other substances.
Do not take more than one recommended dose of Foltx a day because overdosing on minerals can cause serious overdose symptoms and overdosing on A, D, E, or K vitamins can result in serious or life-threatening side effects. Symptoms of overdose include vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, diarrhea, hair loss, tingly feeling in or around your mouth, loss of appetite, peeling skin, weight loss, muscle or joint pain, blood in your urine, severe headache or back pain, changes in menstrual periods, easy bruising or bleeding, or pale skin.
Patient Family Information : Read the directions on the prescription label. Do not take larger doses than prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication as directed on the label or by your pharmacist, doctor, or other healthcare provider. Adults and children 4 years old and older can take one tablet once a day. Take with a full glass of water. If taking Foltx gives you stomach upset, take with food.
Do not take Foltx if you are allergic to any ingredient in the product. Also, do not take Flinestones Complete with any other multivitamin because you may overdose on vitamins and minerals.
Sever Side Effects : Severe: Symptoms of overdose include vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, diarrhea, hair loss, tingly feeling in or around your mouth, loss of appetite, peeling skin, weight loss, muscle or joint pain, blood in your urine, severe headache or back pain, changes in menstrual periods, easy bruising or bleeding, or pale skin.
Common: Black stools, diarrhea, constipation, and nausea. Take Foltx with food to reduce these side effects.
