Inactive ingredients include boric acid, edetate disodium, povidone, sodium borate, sodium sulfite, tyloxapol, sodium hydroxide to adjust pH, and water for injection.
How to Use Prolensa (bromfenac)?
Follow your doctor’s prescription exactly.
Apply 1 drop of Prolensa (bromfenac) to the affected eye once daily. Start 1 day before cataract surgery, continue on the day of surgery, and use for 14 days after surgery.
If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between each medication. The medication may be used with other topical eye medications, including alpha-agonists, beta-blockers, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, cycloplegics, and mydriatics.
Use the medication as directed, even if your symptoms improve. Do not stop early unless advised by your doctor.
