WHAT IS CELEXA?

Celexa (Citalopram) is a prescription drug that helps with treating depression. It is known as a part of a class of drugs called Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI). Healthcare professionals also prescribe Celexa for anxiety disorders, bulimia, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

It is an antidepressant medication that works by boosting serotonin levels and restoring its balance in your brain. Serotonin is the hormone that is responsible for stabilizing our mood and providing the feeling of well-being and happiness.
