Calan is used for patients with high blood pressure, chest pain and other heart rhythm disorders. Calan relaxes the muscles of your heart and your blood vessels.
Keep Calan away from light and store at room temperatures.
Inform your doctor before commencing the use of this medication if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any other prescription or non-prescription medication, or have any other medical conditions. Also inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases, congestive heart failure, or a nerve muscle disorder. After taking Calan be careful during activities which require awareness, such as driving. Calan may impair your awareness and alertness.
For maximum effects, take Calan regularly. This medication may cause your blood pressure to decrease to abnormal levels. Dizziness and lightheadedness are not regular symptoms, and if experienced, you should inform your health care provider. Do not consume alcohol while using Calan as it may increase the side effects.

If you have allergies to any ingredients listed on the label of this medication, you have low blood pressure, or serious heart disease, do not take Calan.
Sever Side Effects : Severe: quickened or slower heartbeats, fainting sensation, fever, sore throat, headache, rash, shortened breath, nausea, stomach ache, lack of appetite, jaundice
Common: nausea, constipation, rash, lightheadedness, exhaustion, strange sensations under your skin
