Maxidex is a type of drug that is classified as a corticosteroid, which, by inhibiting the processes in the body that cause inflammation, reduces the swelling and pain of any inflammatory conditions. Maxidex is specifically used to treat eye inflammation that has been caused by infections, injury, surgery, or other conditions.
Maxidex should be stored in an area that is protected from heat and moisture. Ensure that the medication bottle remains tightly capped when not in use.
